It reminded me of my childhood.

As soon as I saw the rope while shopping at Decathlon, my mind went back to the school breaks I’d spent jumping rope with friends. Back then, I didn’t know — and much less cared — that jumping rope was an excellent exercise for improving our cardiovascular health, bone density, and body composition.

Back then, all I cared about was having fun.

And you know what?

I may be thirty one, but fun is also what I’m looking for in my fitness routine.

After half a decade of maintaining the lean, athletic physique I’d always dreamed of, I’ve become an expert at what my ideal routine looks like: 10–20k steps per daythree full-body resistance workouts per week, and a daily morning stretch.
